Hallmark Travel was a partnership formed by my husband and I in 1990.
I have been in the travel business since leaving school, and have worked in all aspects of travel airline reservations, tour operating, passenger services at Gatwick airport, a leading multiple travel agency and a couple of smaller independents.

My husband is a chartered accountant. He looks after the account’s side of the travel agency, deals with the banks and bonds, and generally makes sure that our finances are sound, leaving me free to take care of the customers, the shop and the staff.

I have travelled extensively, sometimes on business and sometimes with our two children, as a family. I draw on my own travel experiences time and time again to help clients search for something ‘a bit different’. As well as being a Fellow of the Institute of Travel and Tourism, I have received my Licentiateship in Travel from City and Guilds. This is the highest qualification available to Travel Agents and the equivalent to an Open University degree.

The agency is located in East Grinstead, West Sussex. We book everything – package holidays, ferries and cheap flights, but we specialise in a more discerning type of traveller to destinations such as Australia, New Zealand, North America, the Caribbean, The Far East and South Africa.

We are an Independent Agency, which means we have no obligations to any suppliers. We are impartial, and so we can give you totally unbiased advice. We are fully licensed by ABTA and IATA and have own ATOL, so your money is safe and your holiday is bonded.

We are 20 years old, and since our opening we have acquired a string of awards – Best Travel Agent for Canada, Best Leisure Travel Promotion, Bermuda Award for Excellence, and finalist in the Agency Achievement Awards, and for myself – finalist as Best Proprietior!
